All the queue machines we deliver have, with few exceptions, a touchscreen that customers click on to get assistance, join a queue, or register their arrival. The queue machines are equipped with the Windows operating system and also include a printer for numbered tickets. In a queue system, the screen is used to set any background image with one or more buttons for desired transactions and functions. The screen can also display multiple menus in different steps for subcategories with more options or other information. It can also display information in several languages if desired.
Furthermore, the number dispensers can be used for arrival notification. The customer is then greeted by the heading "Booked Meeting," for example, and under this, there is a list of names of meeting recipients. The customer clicks on the correct name in the list, and the concerned person receives an email and/or an SMS, if desired, with information about the customer''''s arrival.
Of course, all these functions can be combined as desired on the touchscreen of the number dispenser. For example, there may be two buttons for a traditional numbered ticket (like "Cash" and "Other Transactions") and a button for a "Booked Meeting."
The number dispensers can also be equipped with a QR code reader or barcode reader (EAN code) for scanning external information or for identification.
Furthermore, the machine can be equipped with an assistance button, for example, for the visually impaired. A press on this button, and the queue system announces the status and queue number with a speaking voice.
