Who, where, and when?

Our queue systems provide staff with the right conditions to prioritize different patients at different times, either by choosing an urgent patient over a non-urgent one or a scheduled appointment over a walk-in, for example. With different customer categories, patients can also be categorized based on different staff competencies or their location within the facility. Of course, the queue system can also be programmed to automatically prioritize certain customer categories over others or call patients in order of waiting time, regardless of the customer category.

Additionally, there is the possibility to use different customer categories at different times depending on the services the facility offers at that moment. For instance, a button for "Vaccination" may be available on the queue machine''s touchscreen during flu season.

During many types of tests, patients should sit and wait for at least 15 minutes for the test results to be as accurate as possible, and the wait time in the queue system provides very concrete assistance in this regard. The wait time can be displayed on the paging unit that staff uses to call a patient, but it can also be shown on strategically placed displays in the lab, for example.

Concept

Given the significant variation among different healthcare units, such as hospital wards, healthcare centers, rehabilitation clinics, specialist clinics, etc., we offer our entire range of products and tailor queue systems entirely to suit the specific needs of the facility.

Depending on the size and layout of the premises, displays for different customer categories can be used in various waiting areas, positioned near a window so that patients can wait outside if they prefer, or directed towards reception desks, waiting rooms, or testing rooms. Displays can also serve as effective "room dividers" to create a secluded zone around workspaces, thus facilitating confidentiality.

In staff areas, displays can be utilized to show the status of the queue system, including the number of waiting individuals and/or the current waiting time. Of course, this type of display can be equally well-utilized for patients in waiting areas if desired.

Furthermore, multiple queue machines can be used if the facility has more than one entrance or has different clinics in various parts of the premises.
